Objective of the Project

This engagement and work has helped to create a last-mile livelihood model for vulnerable men and women via training them in becoming clean energy agents of change in the Jaipur and Ajmer region of Rajasthan. We at AgriVijay have brought technology, training and implementation as a partner, and Foundation brings in its expertise as knowledge partners for the idea proposed and selected via a detailed process of Catalyze Tech 2021 platform.

Implementation

We replaced firewood in 15 rural households with Clean Cooking Fuel – Biogas and Organic Fertilizer – Bioslurry, replacing chemical fertiliser with India’s First Vertical Flexible Biogas Digesters by treating animal waste. Rural women & their families now have access to healthy, smokeless cooking practices with clean fuel along with additional financial savings of about Rs 2000/ month per Family. It saves time spent on collecting and cooking using firewood and effort which is now given to their children, household or other economic activities. Additionally, the Biodigester produces bio-slurry which is rich in micro-organisms that can replace Chemical Fertilizers. Along with this, it also increases soil fertility and yield of the crops, This Biogas Digester comes with a 10-year warranty and a life span of 20+ years.

The Solar Water Pump Project is a collaborative effort between our organization and TRIF Foundation. Our Vision, Mission, and Goals are aligned with the TRIF Foundation, which is why we have decided to collaborate with them on this project.

The aim of this project is to provide 1 HP Solar Water Pumps to farmers in the Parbatpur region of Rajasthan, as well as in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. The project is designed to help farmers overcome the high electricity expenses they face and reduce their electricity bills by utilizing Solar Energy.

Our Solar Water Pump Stores offered an alternative to traditional energy sources, thereby reducing the community’s reliance on Non-Renewable Energy sources and promoting Sustainability.

We have installed 30 Solar Water Pumps ranging from 1HP to 10HP in Rural Households of Farmers.

AgriVijay got an opportunity to work with the MGNREGA, District Panchayat, Dadra & Nagar Haveli where we executed a pilot project of Installing a Biogas Digester of 2 m3 at a rural household at the Dairy Farmer in Silvasa.

A Biogas Digester can produce clean cooking fuel – Biogas which is sufficient for cooking purposes for a 3–4-member rural household (2 – 3 hours of daily cooking) reducing dependency on Firewood & LPG & produces 60 – 70 L of organic bio-slurry replacing chemical fertilizer and enriching Soil health.
